On 25.01.2018, the Vice-Dean of the Military Academy, LTC. Prof. Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, realized a working visit to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FEC), at the University of Zagreb, R. Croatia.
Prof. Bogdanoski first had a working meeting with the newly elected Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Gordan Glezdec, previously Vice-Dean for Science, with whom he discussed the possibility of cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of mutual interest, with a special emphasis on the field of cybersecurity, as well as other areas of relevance to the two institutions.
During the conversation, the military aspect of the FEC programs and the application of technological achievements in military operations was reviewed as a significant opportunity for cooperation through joint application of projects sponsored by various funds. The new Dean of the FEC expressed satisfaction of the visit, which was also his first official international meeting after his election and he gave his full support to the future cooperation between the two institutions.
In addition to this, Prof. Bogdanoski realized a visit to the Department of Electronic Systems and Information Processing at the FEC, where he met with prof. Dr. Predrag Pale, with whom a discussion was opened and ideas were exchanged about specific steps of cooperation that could be realized in the near future. The Military Academy already has long-standing cooperation with this department, and especially with prof.
